Mare Yachts is proud to announce a new partnership with Fiart Mare, bringing the historic Italian shipyard to Hong Kong.
In 1960, FIART (which stands for ‘Fabbriche Italiane per l’Applicazione di Resine Termoindurente’) introduced the Conchita, a small 3.6 metre boat designed for fishing and everyday use, was also the first fiberglass built boat in Europe at the time.
What subsequently followed is a story of a Neapolitan shipyard experiencing the boom of pleasure sailing, with boats constantly becoming ever longer and more powerful. Fiart has produced a large number of boats ranging from 30 to 62 feet since the start of the year 2000, all of them very well-finished models.
As a long-term partner of engine manufacturer Volvo Penta, Fiart wasted no time in installing the company’s well-known IPS drive system as soon as it could, a system that will hugely advance the maneuverability of its boats.
Particularly notable are the Fiart Seawalker 35 an elegant walkaround offering far more than meets the eye, and the upcoming P54, with its striking futuristic design.
